pay day loan default?
I am in hell i took out a pay day loan over 3 years ago thought i had paid it but cannot find the paperwork, now they say i am going to jail can anyone help me?

Well for sure you’re NOT going to jail.
This is a civil matter not a criminal one. The police will have no interest in the matter.
If you’re being chased after three years the companies case is not very strong. If your sure you paid it off then ask them for copies of their paperwork, you’re legally entitled to this. It may help you locate details of what you actually paid.

the absolute worst they can do is take you to court ile a judgement against you, in which case, your paychecks will be garnished to pay them off.
