If you have bad credit and need an emergency loan ,than pay day loans where can I turn?
Had a medical emergency which used up just about all my saving since my medical insurance did not cover most of the bills. I now need to get a loan to help pay my rent which is past due and am facing eviction. Where can I turn other than a payday loan which will not loan the amount I need and which are illegal in my state anyway.
do you have some things you could take to a pawn shop? that would be better than a pay day loan. also talk to the landlord and see if you can work something out.
Go to your bank. Explain the situation to them, they might be able to help you. Especially if you only need a small amount (1500 or less) If you are at or below the poverty level and are receiving any type of assistance you would probably be able to qualify for a once a year rent assistance. They would pay 1 or 2 months rent for you to keep you from being evicted. Check you local assistance office.
Go to your local social services in your town. They will assist you and get you in the right direction to get your money.
