I need instant funds to cover expenses without a payday loan?

So at the moment I’m in between jobs and have no cash or credit on hand to speak of. I’ve currently got around 5 job interviews set up, but need some cash to get me through the next week or two until I get my first paycheck.

However, as I live in Massachusetts, I can’t sign up for any payday loans (online or in-person), as they are not legal in this state.

I’ve tried applying for credit cards but get denied each time.

Can somebody give me any solution to get some sort of monetary loan, FAST (within one to two days), without needing a credit check?
EDIT: I have no family to get a temporary loan from.

Even if your state allowed them… a payday loan company would turn you down because you do not have a job and can’t pledge a paycheck to them since you don’t have one to begin with.

You will have to borrow from friends or sell something to a pawn shop and if nothing else maybe apply for food stamps and cash aid at the welfare office.

Sell or pawn something. You are not going to qualify for any loan if you don’t have a job.

Ask your parents or your siblings for a loan of $90 and then use it super wisely. If you’re hungry then ask your church for food.

Payday loans will only get you in more trouble and debt so stay away from those.

Nope. Even IF payday loans were legal in MA you wouldn’t qualify for one since you do not have a job. Payday lenders require you to provide a paycheck stub in order to prove you have the ability to pay them back. You would also need a checking account.

Also, you said you have job *interviews* set up. That means you have interviews, not a job. Those 5 interviews may leave you hanging for days or weeks if they even want to hire you. You are counting on something that isn’t promised right now.

No legit lender is going to give you money to tide you over until you get a job and your paycheck.

Now, if you have valuables that you can pawn, that can be done. Or, if you own a car outright, you may be able to use that. I have a feeling the car thing won’t work though, because they not only take the car as an asset to repay the loan, but, they do take into account your income. Since you do not have income, I doubt you would qualify for their loan either.

Only thing you can do is ask friends or family, and since you do not have anyone for 10 generations you can ask for a bit of help, you are out of luck. If it is food you need, there are food banks you can visit.
