more than 30% of my income is taken out of my pay check and goes to child support. Can a pay day loan company get a court order to garnish my wages despite 30% being taken already for child support?

Payday loan places have the same legal rights to sue people as any other lender so yes they can take you to court and if they are granted a judgment your wages can be garnished on top of your child support.
They can also attach bank accounts and file liens on any real property you may own like cars, boats, land and homes.
I don’t know if they can garnish your wages but they can make life miserable for you. Try to get them paid and stay away from them places. They are modern day loan sharks.
Ummm…you went to a legal loanshark, and foolishly borrowed money you don’t have, so yes as scummy as those places are, they are unfortunately legal, the only difference between them and Guido the loanshark is that they garnish your wages, instead of breaking your kneecap for failure to pay.
Read the contract you signed, there must be somthing in there about it, also, offer them 50-70% of what you actuallly owe? that works for debt collectors sometimes.
